The Buffalo City Metro Municipality (BCMM) together with the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) held a two-day sector training for emerging seasonal exporters in East London on Monday at the King David Hotel.
The training was for a duration of two days, starting from the 04th of June 2018 (Monday) till the 06 of June (Wednesday).
Different sectors such as the manufacturing, Agri-processing and the creative industry from around the City where invited to participate in this initiative. And close to ten companies in the city had participated.
The whole purpose of the training was to prepare companies for the successful expansion of their big or small companies so that they can be able to acquire skills for trading globally.
Empowerment in exporting entrepreneurs is seen as a long way investment in understanding international and global trends and assists in the better understanding of the communication channels.
Such training happen twice a year in the City to assist small and big companies thrive in their respective sector of business.
