Siyakhana is an international benchmark project that provides participating small and medium sized companies in the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa, with tangible HIV and AIDS awareness, counselling, testing, treatment, care, support and impact mitigation. The Siyakhana project has grown to over 60 Member Company’s on their books and are currently treating over 450 positive cases of HIV/AIDS. Recently the Trustees added TB to the list of workplace priority areas and accordingly treat TB as well. The project also increased the number of government clinics it mentors and assists from seven to twelve.
