The Border-Kei Chamber of Business (BKCOB) has since its inception over 100 years ago, championed economic development in the region through creating an enabling environment for business to establish and grow. With offices in East London, Butterworth and Queenstown, and servicing 800 members in a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail and services, the Border-Kei Chamber of Business represents its members interests from the smallest SME through to captains of industry.

The Border-Kei Chamber of Industry prides itself on healthy stakeholder relations with government, at national level through the South African Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SACCI), at Provincial and local level where it serves on a number of committees and fora. It works with other organized business organizations and the BKCOB believes strongly in business unity and the transformation of the South African economy.

The formidable 'Voice of Business' represents: 800 members who generate an estimated annual turnover of R69 billion, and who employ some 46 300 people who earn an estimated annual income of R18 billion. With our open, accessible and highly visible presence in the region, we welcome dialogue with an entities keen to see the Eastern Cape prosper.
