Salem Baby Care Centre which is a non-profit organisation that cares for destitute babies and their mothers on a daily basis, is hosting a Gala Dinner & dance on Saturday, 30 October 2010 at the Hudson park High School Hall.   Entertainment for the event will be provided by Centrestage.  Tables cost R350 per person (10 people per table).

As the centre does not receive much support financially from the government, they rely greatly on donations from organisations and the community as well as fundraising ventures such as the Gala Dinner in order to ensure continued support to babies and their mothers. 

As Salem is registered under Section 18a of the Income Tax Act, all donations of R2000.00 or more are tax deductable.
