Sanlam Seminar: Build a Business You Can Sell

On Wednesday, 30, May, the Border-Kei Chamber of Business team, along with a number of Chamber members, attended the Sanlam Seminar: Build a Business You Can Sell by renowned action coach Harry Welby-Cooke at the Regent Hotel.

As part of Sanlam’s 100th Birthday celebrations, Sanlam and Southern African Co-Master Licensee of the world’s largest business coaching company – ActionCoach, Harry Welby-Cooke, have embarked on a countrywide tour, hosting workshops for entrepreneurs on how to build a business you can sell.

The third stop of the tour, East London showed its eagerness to grow its economy and came out in the numbers for what was an enthralling and enlightening presentation by Welby-Cooke.

An accomplished speaker and business owner in his own right, Welby-Cooke kicked off proceedings by dispelling the many myths surrounding East London and its commercial viability, saying many had been able to thrive and nothing should stop those in attendance do the same.

Welby-Cooke’s expansive presentation also contained step by step guides to building, sustaining and upscaling your business, along the way offering informative anecdotes and case studies to make his point.

ActionCOACH is the world’s largest executive and business coaching company with operations in 39 countries. It is also on the list of the top 100 franchises globally.
