Controlled blasting on N2 between Grahamstown and Fish River Pass
Eastern Cape, 18 June 2018: The South African National Roads Agency SOC Ltd (SANRAL) would like to notify travellers that controlled blasting for drainage is scheduled to take place on Monday 18 June 2018. The blast will take place between 3pm and 5pm along the R72 Section 3 (Km49.24) to Section 4 (KM16.0).
The road will be temporarily closed between Birah Holiday Resort and Wesley.
“Motorists are asked to use caution when making use of the road,” Mbulelo Peterson, SANRAL Southern Region Manager said.
SANRAL apologises for any inconvenience caused.
