The premier of the Eastern Cape, Phumulo Masualle welcomed the German Minister –President of Lower Saxony, Stephen Weil and his delegation into the Province on Wednesday.

The visit of the Germans was to outline the milestone achievement by the provincial government reached by both parties. These included presentations by the IDZ, the Border-Kei Chamber of Business, the German company Liesen Bitumen, as well as site visits to Feltex Automotive and Froetek SA.

Among the number of projects by the Eastern Cape and the Germans, they will be sharing information on the 75 kilowatts of energy at Beaufort West, where they will be explaining the project which is a first of its kind in rural South Africa and the Sport events at Parkside and finish off with a visit in the Duncan Village Clinic where the Germans donated medical equipment to the health facility last year in October.

These are some of the benefits that where signed by the premier of the Eastern Cape and the Minister –President Weil in 2015.
